Elevate Skin & Body wasn't born in a corporate boardroom. It was born in the quiet, determined spaces between struggle and purpose-- in the early mornings, on long bus rides, and through a unwavering belief that people deserve to be cared for completely.

My journey to founding this business wasn't linear, but every single step brought me exactly where I needed to be.

The Long Way Around

If you look at my resume, you'll see a U.S. military veteran, a certified personal trainer, and a licensed esthetician. But more than any credential, I am someone who has lived the long way around.

When I relocated from St. Louis to Los Angeles with my daughter, we faced a season of homelessness. Rebuilding our lives took faith, self-directed learning, and a relentless curiosity about the human body. It was during this time in California that I began studying herbalism, plant medicine, anatomy, and nervous system regulation. At first, I didn't learn these things in a formal classroom-- I learned them out of survival, necessity, and love.

The true turning point cam from the person who matter most. My daughter looked at me one day and challenged me to stop just advising others on their skin and actually go get licensed.

That challenge changed everything.

The Launch of "Skin in Motion"

I enrolled in the esthetics program at Santa Monica College and graduated in June 2026. Armed with my license and a lifelong passion for wellness, I founded Elevate Skin & Body around a philosophy I call the Skin in Motion Method.

The Skin in Motion Method treats skin as what it actually is: the body's largest organ, completely inseparable from muscle, movement, and recovery.

This isn't just about surface-level beauty; it's about deep, functional wellness. To push this vision even further, I am currently pursuing an associates's degrees in Kinesiology, with plans to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and obtain my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Who We Are For:

This brand exists to serve whole people.

  • Veterans looking for holistic relief.

  • Mothers who pour into everyone else first.

  • Athletes who need their skin to keep up with their physical performance.

  • Teens navigating changes in their own skin.

  • Anyone who has ever been handed fragmented, band-aid care and felt like something vital was still missing.

Elevate Skin & Body is a space where your physical recovery and skin health meet. This is just the beginning of the road, and I am so incredibly grateful to have you here.
